Florian Zerzawy is head of the energy and agricultural policy team at FÖS, working on policy instruments for energy transition, subsidies for fossil fuels, carbon pricing and economic instruments for natural resource governance. Prior to joining FÖS in 2016, Mr. Zerzawy worked as project manager in the national climate initiative of Germany’s Ministry of Environment and as a manager of climate mitigation projects related to UNFCCC’s Clean Development Mechanism. Mr. Zerzawy is a Geographer with specialisation in Development Studies and Environmental Economics. He also holds a post-graduate certificate in renewable energy project development.
