Jana Leutner, a graduate political scientist, has been working as a research fellow at the Forum for Ecological-Social Market Economy since February 2025. Prior to this, she worked for 15 years in international development cooperation, primarily supporting finance ministries and audit offices in Southeast Asia, Latin America, and sub-Saharan Africa in public finance reform processes. Her work includes the design of environmental policy instruments in the areas of taxation and expenditure, as well as the development of socially equitable fiscal policy.
