Environmental Financial Reform
With an environmental financial reform, we are using fiscal policy and taxation to redirect towards a sustainable and fair economy and society - by reducing subsidies that harm the environment and society, by placing our tax system on a broader basis and by making the consumption of resources and the burden on the climate more expensive. The additional revenue should be used sustainably for investments in the future and social justice.

| Publicationabstract | Gebäude sind in Deutschland noch immer für 40 Prozent des Energieverbrauches und 20 Prozent der CO2-Emmissionen verantwortlich. Das FÖS hat im Auftrag der Heinrich-Böll-Stiftung ein Konzept entwickelt, mit dem die Förderung der energetischen Gebäudesanierung zukünftig finanziert werden könnte. Dafür wird ein Prämienmodell vorgeschlagen, welches haushaltsunabhängig für eine größere Investitions- und Planungssicherheit sorgen soll. Das Konzept ist eine Weiterentwicklung einer im Jahr 2012 erstellten Studie. |
