Dr. Nina Scheer has been a member of the German Bundestag for constituency 10, Duchy of Lauenburg/Stormarn-South, since 2013. In the current legislative period, she is a full member of the Committee on Economic Affairs and Energy and the energy policy spokesperson for the SPD parliamentary group in the Bundestag. Among other things, she is a member of the advisory board of the Federal Network Agency for Electricity, Gas, Telecommunications, Post, and Railways (BNetzA) and spokesperson for the SPD regional group in Schleswig-Holstein. Before taking office, she was managing director of UnternehmensGrün e.V. and held teaching positions. Among other things, she is a volunteer board member of the Hermann Scheer Foundation. On the SPD party executive committee, she is a member of the SPD-Grundwertekommission and a member of the political advisory board of the SPD Economic Forum.
