Damian Ludewig holds a degree in economics and served as managing director of FÖS for many years. Since 2023, he has been deputy chairman of the FÖS supervisory board. He was involved for many years in the executive committee of the German Nature Conservation Union (DNR) and in the speakers' council of the Climate Alliance Germany, is a member of the board of trustees of the Institute for Solidarity Modernity, and most recently led a campaign team at Campact for three years. He currently works as a freelance coach and consultant.
