Dr. Florian Peiseler is working as a research associate at FÖS since April 2022. His main focus at FÖS is the design of environmental and climate policy instruments in the transport sector. He studied Economics in Freiburg, Istanbul and Bonn and received his doctorate at Düsseldorf Institute for Competition Economics (DICE). In his research, he applied psychological concepts of decision making to market environments, mainly investigating on the influence of externalities on competition. Prior to FÖS, he worked in a competition economics consultancy, where he gained experience in the preparation of expert reports and analysis.
