Workshop on integrating biodiversity into economic reporting - with Robert Costanza

We invite you to attend to the workshop as part of the project Biodiversity-friendly economic growth: Recommendations for sustainable welfare indicators, funded by the Federal Agency for Nature Conservation with funds from the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Climate Action, Nature Conservation, and Nuclear Safety.

What you can expect: exciting input on welfare reporting and ecosystem accounting, including from Robert Costanza, who will talk about the developments in ecosystem services to date and the next steps needed to ensure that ecosystem services are given greater consideration. In the workshop section, the project results will be presented and the recommendations for action and next steps will be discussed.

Background
During the workshop, we would like to present the results and recommendations for action from our project and discuss key issues with you regarding the next steps for integrating biodiversity into economic reporting.  
Your expertise is particularly important to us in order to review and further develop the recommendations for action. In this way, you can actively contribute to the development of recommentations for the stronger integration of biodiversity into economic reporting. The workshop will provide a forum for exchange between different disciplines with the aim of gathering recommendations for concrete next steps for implementation and incorporating them into further work. 
Your assessments and ideas will be incorporated into the final work and will help to formulate practical and effective recommendations for action. We are looking forward to discussing this with you and incorporating your insights into our final results.
