Environmental Financial Reform
With an environmental financial reform, we are using fiscal policy and taxation to redirect towards a sustainable and fair economy and society - by reducing subsidies that harm the environment and society, by placing our tax system on a broader basis and by making the consumption of resources and the burden on the climate more expensive. The additional revenue should be used sustainably for investments in the future and social justice.

| Publicationabstract | Im Rahmen des Forschungsvorhabens haben adelphi und das FÖS untersucht, welche ökonomischen Instrumente neben den in Deutschland bestehenden ordnungs- und planungsrechtlichen Instrumenten eine öko-nomisch effiziente und ökologisch effektive Minderung der Luftschadstoffbelastung bewirken können. In einer Literaturstudie wurden zahlreiche ökonomische Instrumente recherchiert, die sich in Deutschland zur Minderung der Luftschadstoffbelastung einsetzen ließen. Sieben Instrumente wurden in einer Detailanalyse vertieft untersucht. Der Abschlussbericht fasst die Vor- und Nachteile der analysierten Instrumente zusammen und benennt mögliche Probleme bei der Implementierung in Deutschland. |
