Environmental Financial Reform
With an environmental financial reform, we are using fiscal policy and taxation to redirect towards a sustainable and fair economy and society - by reducing subsidies that harm the environment and society, by placing our tax system on a broader basis and by making the consumption of resources and the burden on the climate more expensive. The additional revenue should be used sustainably for investments in the future and social justice.

| Publicationabstract | Konventionelle Energieträger werden im Jahr 2017 voraussichtlich rund 33 bis 38 Mrd. Euro an "versteckten Kosten" durch die Umweltbelasungen und staatliche Förderungen verursachen. Würden sie wie bei erneuerbaren Energien auf die Strompreise umgelegt, wäre die Konventionelle-Energien-Umlage mit 9,4 bis 10,8 Ct/kWh deutlich höher als die EEG-Umlage. Dies hat das FÖS im Auftrag von Greenpeace Energy eG geschätzt. |
