Environmental Financial Reform
With an environmental financial reform, we are using fiscal policy and taxation to redirect towards a sustainable and fair economy and society - by reducing subsidies that harm the environment and society, by placing our tax system on a broader basis and by making the consumption of resources and the burden on the climate more expensive. The additional revenue should be used sustainably for investments in the future and social justice.

| Publicationabstract | Mobilitätsarmut ist ein vielschichtiges Problem, das entsprechend vielschichtige Lösungsansätze und Maßnahmen in vielen Politikbereichen erfordert. Mit Blick auf umwelt- und sozialpolitische Ziele bietet die Verkehrswende viele Chancen, Mobilität umweltfreundlicher zu machen und gleichzeitig die Mobilitätsarmut zu reduzieren. Es existieren jedoch auch Verteilungs- und Zielkonflikte, die offen angesprochen und gesellschaftlich ausgehandelt werden müssen. Bei all dem ist zu bedenken, dass Mobilität kein Selbstzweck ist, sondern ein Mittel, um tieferliegende Bedürfnisse zu befriedigen. |
