Environmental Financial Reform
With an environmental financial reform, we are using fiscal policy and taxation to redirect towards a sustainable and fair economy and society - by reducing subsidies that harm the environment and society, by placing our tax system on a broader basis and by making the consumption of resources and the burden on the climate more expensive. The additional revenue should be used sustainably for investments in the future and social justice.

Publicationabstract | In diesem Bericht wurden sieben Instrumente zur Steigerung der Ressourceneffizienz untersucht: Primärbaustoffsteuer, Verfüllsteuer auf mineralische Bau- und Abbruchabfälle, Förderung des betrieblichen Ressourcenmanagements mittels steuerlicher Begünstigungen oder Förderprogrammen, Mehrwertsteuersenkung für ressourceneffiziente Produkte, Europäische Produktressourcensteuer und ein Pfandsystem auf Elektro- und Elektronikkleingeräte. Neben der Ausgestaltung und Einbettung in flankierende Instrumente wurden auch die Wirkungen der Instrumente analysiert. Je nach Reifegrad des Instruments umfasst die Wirkungsanalyse auch eine quantitative Modellierung der ökonomischen Effekte. |
