Environmental Financial Reform
With an environmental financial reform, we are using fiscal policy and taxation to redirect towards a sustainable and fair economy and society - by reducing subsidies that harm the environment and society, by placing our tax system on a broader basis and by making the consumption of resources and the burden on the climate more expensive. The additional revenue should be used sustainably for investments in the future and social justice.

| Publicationabstract | Öffentliche Gewährleistungen sind ein zentrales staatliches Instrument zur Mobilisierung privater Investitionen. Durch Bürgschaften und Garantien übernimmt der Staat gezielt Risiken und erhöht so die Bankfähigkeit von Projekten, die aufgrund erhöhter Unsicherheiten sonst nicht finanziert würden. Der Bund verfügt über einen Ermächtigungsrahmen von über 1.000 Mrd. € zur Übernahme von Gewährleistungen, der bislang jedoch weniger als zur Hälfte ausgeschöpft ist. Es gibt bereits Ansätze, Gewährleistungsinstrumente systematisch auf Transformationsinvestitionen auszurichten. Das Instrument bietet Potenzial, stärker die Industrie- und Energietransformation in Deutschland zu fördern. |
