Environmental Financial Reform
With an environmental financial reform, we are using fiscal policy and taxation to redirect towards a sustainable and fair economy and society - by reducing subsidies that harm the environment and society, by placing our tax system on a broader basis and by making the consumption of resources and the burden on the climate more expensive. The additional revenue should be used sustainably for investments in the future and social justice.

| Publicationabstract | Die Studie vergleicht Analysen seit 2020 zu den Investitionsbedarfen für die Erreichung der deutschen Klimaziele bis 2030 und 2045 und betrachtet dabei die Sektoren Energie, Gebäude, Verkehr und Industrie sowie den öffentlichen Finanzbedarf. Sie zeigt, dass jährliche Gesamtinvestitionen von 215 bis 550 Mrd. Euro nötig sind, ein Großteil davon in den kommenden zehn Jahren, und dass der öffentliche Finanzbedarf bei 30 bis 90 Mrd. Euro pro Jahr liegt. |
